The GIAC Platinum Level testing process is a multi-faceted approach that is the most rigorous and comprehensive in the IT security industry. It involves both individual and group hands-on security exercises, professional and technical individual presentations, group presentations, research and essay assignments along with more than 12 hours of multiple choice and scenario based exams.

GIAC's scenario based and practical application of knowledge assessment techniques ensures that even under pressure, platinum level certification holders can think on their feet and apply the broad array of IT security skills they have acquired. Much of the testing process assesses specific skills, core competencies and technical expertise ensuring that these traits are present within each person's day-to-day mindset and problem-solving abilities.

GSX testing takes place at the annual Network Security Conference. See you at NS2007!
