Nimda - A Step Into Complexity

A private company has the capacity to do only so much to protect its software. As viruses and software gets more complex, software companies need to improve their standards. Publishing a patch or upgrade after a security vulnerability has been exploited does not do a lot of good for their customer. Having thousands of different patches that must be tested, sometimes debugged, and applied to multiple servers can make an administrator's day a little more than frustrating.
