Snort 3.0 Beta 3 for Analysts

In this paper, we have demonstrated the architectural changes in Snort 3.0 and the reason for these changes. We have also illustrated SnortSP's new features, such as native IPv6 support, multithreading, native inline bridging, and dynamic configuration using the Lua scripting language.
