Option 1 - Design a Secure Windows 2000 Infrastructure

This document outlines a security strategy used by a fictional company, GIAC Enterprises, which from this point on will be known as GIACE. GIACE's Information Technology (IT) department has been tasked to design and implement a secure Windows 2000 Active Directory (AD) network. The network design will be driven by three factors: (a) physical and geographical layout, (b) business goals, and most significantly, (c) IT resource administration methods.
